The purpose of the award is to affirm the sports ideal and its moral and cultural values, principles which inspired Mr. Angelo Gabrielli’s philosophy of life.

The awards are being assigned on 29th November, 2022 to young 14 to 20-year old athletes who have achieved outstanding sports results in the 2020/2021/2022 period and who are enrolled in sports associations affiliated with Coni (Italian National Olympic Committee) in the municipalities of: San Martino di Lupari, Galliera Veneta, Tombolo, San Giorgio in Bosco, Campo San Martino, Piazzola sul Brenta, Grantorto, San Pietro in Gù, Carmignano di Brenta, Fontaniva, Cittadella, Gazzo Padovano and Villa del Conte. Upon drawing up the final ranking of the Award, efforts put into studies will be taken into account besides the sports aspect which the athletes of the various sports disciplines have expressed.

The awards of economic and non economic nature are being assigned by a special Commission which will judge those who are the worthiest on the basis of their sports curriculum, the official results reported by the sports clubs and their performance at school.
